When was the last time Nederland won the district championship in basketball?

I believe (and I could be wrong), but it was in the late '60s or early 70's

WOW..Double OT... Great game and both teams would not give. Ozen was down by 13 and hit a series of 3s to take the lead by 1. Nederland would not let it go that easy and pushed when they needed to. Nederland hit free throws in OT with the clock winding to put the game out of reach.....

Worth $4.00 any day.

They hit some free throws but if certain players could shoot better than 50% from the charity stripe there is no first OT much less 2 OTs.  Free throw shooting is one weakness they are going to have to improve.  Still a huge win and good momentum going into the playoffs.

Officially, it's a co-championship, but in the minds of all, we know who the top team in the district is. ;)
