janmac Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Thanks for update. Hopefully, our boys will fare better.
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Valent effort put forth by the Hawks, at one point in the second quarter HJ was down bad, they went on a 11 - 0 run to fight back withn 9, Rudder just too athletic for the Hawks tonight. Katy Williams and Sharadin Priddy had great games, Our post players played well, they held their own, but the gaurds for Rudder were very good. Good Luck to Rudder along the way. Hawks lets start rebuilding for the next year. Congats to our two Seniors Victoria, and Page, You brought home a undefeated district championship home to HJ for the first time in a while. Not to shabby gals, and nothing t hang your head over, good luck in your future endeavors.
hawkdad Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Rudder is a very solid team. They played great defense and controlled the tempo of the game from the start. HJ had plenty of opportunities to make the game more respectable but our shots were not falling tonight. Alot of that had to do with Rudder's pressure defense. The Lady Hawks didn't finish on a positive note tonight but they still had a terrific season. Congrats to Victoria and Paige. They were great leaders for the team and will be greatly missed. The foundation is there for the Hawks to continue to make additional playoff appearances and hopefully go further. Again, Congrats to HJ.
whsalum Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Congrats to the ladies on a great season.I thought going in this would be a rebuilding year. That wasn't the case as it turned out the foundation was and still is solid.Super job.
