KFDM COOP Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Dayton and Central are the top two. That's my prediction. Who has the best chance to be the 3rd Playoff team?
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Tough to say. I think we can beat PN-G with Mosley back. Long rest of the season for Mid County possibly?
Guest Ozen Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Not us. Tough call on the others though. This District is much weaker this year except for Dayton and Central.
KFDM COOP Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 Ok let's stop and think. Mid County Madness is huge for both teams next week. Both teams still have to face Dayton and PN-G still has to face Central. This will come down to week 10. Vidor and Lumberton will have a shot as well.
WOS95 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 i say PN-G still makes the playoffs. it was a shocker that lc-m beat pn-g so bad. 42-0  i do believe that lc-m is an improved team this year. in the game against wos they looked like they had some potential to be a good team. imo the key for png is to beat nederland and then take it one game at a time and do not overlook any of their opponents, of course that's easier said then done. the playoff race in that district is wide open.

PNG discounted the very real threat that LCM is and continues to become. They seemed as though they were wholly unprepared last night. I'm thinking that was a huge wake up call for them, as well as for any other team who thinks they can march into the Bear Country and assume we are hibernating!
WOS95 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 i don't like to look ahead but if lc-m can put together a string of wins they could grab a playoff spot too. i mean this 4A district is getting confusing
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 L-TOWN has as good a shot as Nederland or any of the others. Good luck to each of them!
WOS95 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 yup, like i said earlier this district is wide open.

Don't worry, I'll give you full credit!
adminbaberuth Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 This is going to be a fun, exciting finish for 3rd place. If we had the old playoff rules, basketballs would be out for some, baseballs for the majority.
sticky Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Dayton and Central are the top two. That's my prediction. Who has the best chance to be the 3rd Playoff team? How can you say this? Dayton can't compete in this district. Heard it a thousand times. Come on now. Poll should be for who gets second and third and don't put Dayton in the mix. Most Overrated= Dayton some people think that Dayton will jump right into the District 22-4A play-off race. But don't think they will effect the play-off picture to much this year. They are entering into a way tougher district. I mean they have a nice play-off appearence streak going but for some reason I see it ending this year. In reply: Finally someone agrees with me about Dayton!!!!! And... I agree about Dayton I said that along time ago.. I've seen Dayton play many times the past few years. They are a good team' date=' very good, don't get me wrong. But they will be in a much tougher district this year.[/quote'] And the district will go to:
Pimp Smack Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 NEDERLAND IS PRAYING FOR SOME UPSETS RIGHT NOW. I THINK THEY CAN PULL BACK TOGETHER AND MAKE A GOOD FINISH IN DISTRICT. I HAVE TO GIVE MY 3RD SPOT TO LUMBERTON THOUGH. LIKE I SAID, THE WINNER OF VIDOR LUMBERTON WILL TAKE THAT 3RD SPOT.
KFDM COOP Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 It's going to be fun. Let's say Central beats Lumberton next week. That's 2 loses, Nederland wins, they have 2 loses. Nederland plays Lumberton down the line? It probably won't be decided until week 10 on the 3rd team.
Pimp Smack Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 U HAVE A POINT. BUT I THINK THE ONLY TEAM THAT CAN BEAT LUMBERTON NOW IS CENTRAL, BUT DONT BE SUPRISED IF LUMBERTON TAKES IT.IS THAT CENTRALS HOMECOMING GAME?I'VE HEARD THAT IT IS AND I'VE HEARD THAT IT ISNT.
KFDM COOP Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 Believe it is their Homecoming.
FBfan7 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Nederland fans kill me......"we still have a chance for the playoffs"......no you don't.......the one man team is short that one man. Even with mosely playing you guys have been getting beat. Nice job Lumberton, You guys really surprised me. Vidor gave the game away with turnovers but what else is new. PNG........ooooohhh that was scary, but im sure you guys still think your going to the playoffs.....it is going to come down to vidor and lumberton for the third spot.....last nights game could mean vidor sitting at home
footballfan88 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 lumberton will deffiantly be in the race for that third spot... say lumberton beats central next week... will lumberton then have a chance for the 2nd spot in this district??
Guest Jags Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Lumberton will not beat us, sorry. Brandon Williams is the real deal folks. WAY to much speed next week for them Raiders. I think Nederland in week 10 grabs the 3rd spot.
footballfan88 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 that would be nice!! and how things are looking anything can happen... who do you think the top 3 teams in this district will be coop??
KFDM COOP Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 1. Dayton 2. Central 3.??? We may have to wait until week 10
footballfan88 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 yep thats how its startin to look...
KFDM COOP Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 No doubt about it. Exciting season.
footballfan88 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Exciting and deffianly crazy... i was at the lumberton game last night and when i heard some of those updates on halftime scores my jaw dropped...
