kindafunny Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 BH hoops teams set Tuesday playoffs From sports staff reportsBaytown Sun Published February 21, 2010 Barbers Hill basketball teams will travel near and far Tuesday night in pursuit of advancing in the state playoffs.The No. 14-ranked Lady Eagles, hot off a 67-55 area-round win over Willis Friday, will play Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Blinn Junior College against Del Valle.Del Valle’s 17-4A champs, ranked No. 11 in the state, defeated Magnolia 48-38 and Livingston 45-29 in the playoffs to bring a 33-2 record into the Region III-4A quarterfinal game.Barbers Hill’s boys, 22-11, will face Nederland in a Class 4A bidistrict game at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Winnie’s East Chambers High School.Nederland tied Beaumont Ozen for the District 20-4A championship and Nederland, 19-14, won Friday night’s seeding game against Ozen in Port Arthur by a 70-64 score after two overtimes.
