KFDM COOP Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Mustang lifters shine in Silsbee MeetLeader SportsThe Orange LeaderSILSBEE — The West Orange-Stark boys varsity and junior varsity powerlifting teams placed first and the girls team placed second at the Silsbee Powerlifting Meet Monday.The varsity boys have placed first in three of the four meets they have competed in this year.In the girls, Alayna Jacobs placed third in the 123-class. Ashleigh Kelly placed first and Kanosha McGhee placed second in the 198- class. Caitlin Greer placed first and Kanisha McGhee nabbed second in the 220-class and Chelisia Mitchell placed first in the 220-plus class.In varsity boys, Wilson Washington claimed first in the 148-class. Brenson Lindsey placed first and Britton got 2nd in the 165-class. Evander Guillory placed first in the 198-class. Lawrence Gilmore placed second and Donovon Rubin placed third in the 220-class. Ian Jenkins placed first and Stephen Cook second in the 242-class. Terrence Dennis was third in the 275-class and Ryan Allen placed first in the Super Heavy Weight class. Britton Lindsey also won the Best lifter in the Light-weight class.
