SETX lost a bunch of teams in OT games in the 1st round!

Evadale had to be my biggest surprise this season.atahe Wilkins kid has that program headed in the right direction.This is a tough loss but a good season overall for the Rebels.

I was at this one. A sloppy game for the most part.
Evadale had a 12 point lead at one time and started making
some silly turnovers,I would chalk it up to being a young team
and the lack of a true point guard really hurt. That being said
this team will be back in the playoff hunt again next season and
IMOP will be even better than they are this year.

Congrats on a nice season rebs.

Somerville is not as good as some made them out to be
unless I just cought them on one of their off nights.JMOP

I was there as well.  If it had not been for a 16-0 run for Somerville in the 3rd quarter, overcoming a 37-27 deficit, the outcome would have been different.  I do have to say though, yes, Somerville had a very off night and one of the best players was not really moving well (ankle injury). Plus, one of the other starters is down after losing their home to a fire on Monday.  Not making excuses here but these things so have an impact.  Evadale....thumbs up.....they kept fighting back.  Good luck next year.

Congratulations to Coach Wilkins and the Evadale Rebels on a very fine season. Coach Wilkins is an outstanding basketball coach who has a great understanding of the game of basketball. This team and this program will be competing in the playoffs for years to come. Great job Jason! Keep your head up and be proud of what you have accomplished this year.

Sorry i missed the game last night! I got reports and it sounded very possitive. Even when it went into overtime I liked our chances. This team has come a long way in a few short years. Coach Wilkins has done a great job preparing the Rebels to compete at this level and I am sure that the "wait till next year" chants will begin very soon...if they have not already.
