Should have remembered Jeep Colburn from the '60's, and of course R.C. Slocum.  Didn't know, ( or forgot), that Colvin played for the Tigers.

Sammy Owens was the fastest "PLAYER" I ever saw at Stark  High.  he did his best work "behind" the bleachers.  there wasn`t a single girl in that school who could get away from him.

He still has most of his hair.  ;) Bruce is a super guy and a pretty darn good coach.  The kids really like his energy.  He is pretty enthusiastic

Forgot about probably the best QB from Stark, David Foster.  Chachie Owens, Dan Sears, & Allen Eads.
The Coaches in the early 70's were Dexter Bassinger and Neal Morgan.  And who can forget where Wade Phillips started his coaching career at...Stark High School.  A few more Joey Robbins, Ronnie Garrison(who recently passed away), and the Teate brothers(Danny & Donald).  Oh Yeah and Sammy could throw a football the length of the football field(lol). Just Funnin' with you Sammy.  Mike "Pop" Schrieber here Sammy.
