KFDM COOP Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 LOL' date=' Mav. Dugat, the QB, and the rest of the starters played a full 4 quarters. If you were at the game, you'd have seen that yourself. Dayton played strong in the first half, but by the 4th quarter, they were looking for O2 while the WOS players had plenty of gas in the tank.[/quote'] I was there as well and i knew ALL the starters for Dayton played.
Guest Jags Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Wait until my boy Williams runs wild, it will be ugly
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 jags, your right,if Williams runs wild(could be very ugly) if not we could be in the game.(maybe).
LR4life Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 lumberton has a chance..... i think central might come out thinkin that it will be an easy victory but our guys have the heart and want it more than the jags....soooo dont be suprised if its close
WOS92 Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Dugat and the starting QB for Dayton played the entire game against WO-S. They were just beaten by a better team. Lumberton will be an easy win for the Jags.
Guest vidorpride Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 One thing is for sure. Anything can happen in this district. I think the only way Lumberton has a chance is if they come out of the gates and get a quick lead on the Jags. It would be interesting to see how the Jags would respond. I haven't seen the Jags play this year, but it sounds like they have a solid, fast team. If the Raider defense plays like they played against us last week, I'm afraid they might get their a@$#@ handed to them. Their offense will have its work cut out for them to keep them in this game. Good Luck to both teams - Jags by 14
Guest maverick24 Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 For those of you that know the Dayton team so well will know that Green wasn't Qb against WOS but Thomas was. The switch was made after that game. That came from the Dayton Coaching staff reports! Rb had 6 carries played less than 8 min. get the real stats before you start mouthing off. Not the ones you heard someone say in the stands LOL
piratefan Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Central by 35I think this also..Central big.. THEY wont fumble inside there red zone three times!!!!!
40under Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Central by as much as they want. Could be uglier than the Dayton game.
beaumontballer44 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 kinda off subject but LC-M only lost to central 27-14 or 27-13 and lcm also beat png 42-0 is LC-M that good or are they sub-par because Lumberton might keep it close and if they do they have a shot. I remember that last year's horrible football only lost to 1st place central 30-8 last year
Zoneblock Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 The only chance Lumberton has to win this game is if the central bus breaks down! I still think it will be a good game for a Quarter or so and then Central Athleticism and Coaching takes over. Isay Central in a romp a score similar to the nedeland central score!!
beaumontballer44 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I honestly don't think it will be that bad. I think Lumberton is prepared this week and not big headed like when they played dayton. Anything can happen LC-M played central close. I think Central takes this one though but not in a blow out. After central lumberton will control its own destiny against png, ozen, lcm and nederland
Guest Kelly Football Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Good luck to Lumberton as they will face blazing speed Friday. You never know though.
WTB Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I agree central has better athletes and I respect what their coach for what he has done but that comment about coaching taking over??? If you underestimating Lumberton because they are young and inexperienced and not the fastest team on the track then thats fine because you will not get an argument from anyone but to underestimate them because you think they are poorly coached then you are making a mistake.
LR4life Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Central by as much as they want. Could be uglier than the Dayton game. ha if you think that this game will be like the dayton game then you will be suprised...... our guys have worked hard and are prepared for centrals speed...... we may not have the fastest guys on the track but we have hart and arent scared to hit anybody in the mouth...
Pimp Smack Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 i always hear Lumberton is slow, Lumberotn is slow, Lumberton is slow. If we are soooo slow then why do we have the 6th rank passing defense in setx? You would think if we were soooo slow people would just throw the ball over us. Basically im just saying we arent as slow as everyone says we are. Not the fastest, but please stop saying we are a slow team.
L-TOWN baseball Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 that was stupid saying centrals coaching staff will take over. .. credeur is a heck of a coach and knows what hes doing. and lumberton has more heart than most teams in this area ... they dont know how to quit! and i promise they wont! bring that speed on
VPiratefan2007 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 then what happen at the dayton game?????
40under Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 ha if you think that this game will be like the dayton game then you will be suprised...... our guys have worked hard and are prepared for centrals speed.. It is impossible for you to be prepared for Central's speed. Lumberton cannot immitate their speed in practice. Let's remember you guys talked all week about well you were prepared for Dayton and how you were going to win and you got lit up like a Christmas tree.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 this game will get ugly, and i mean quickly if they cant stop Vince Williams...oops, i meant Brandon Williams. sorry

(if you really do)because you have only played two freakin teams in district.. You played a very weak New Caney team,a very, very poor Cleveland team and a average BC team.... wait till about another 3 weeks and see what yall are ranked.. heck wait till after this week....

I seen that myself..
hfaninthestands Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 If we are soooo slow then why do we have the 6th rank passing defense in setx? Dayton Rushes - Yards 32-370 Vidor Rushes - Yards 41-306 Why pass when you can't stop the run? I remember in elementary that 6th place ribbons were the 'participation' ribbons
piratefan Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Dayton Rushes - Yards 32-370 Vidor Rushes - Yards 41-306 Why pass when you can't stop the run? I remember in elementary that 6th place ribbons were the 'participation' ribbonswow..thats about 330 yards a game.....and I believe your defense (6th ranked D) is giving up an average of about 40 points a game....Of course in district..thats all were counting because thats all that does count!!
