bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 4-4 at the 15 minute mark. reminiscent of the first quarter of the nederland game last night.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 still 4-4, 13 left. this is nuts!
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 Ags are leading this shootout 7-4 at the 2nd TV timeout. Horns ball, 11:45 left in the first half :)
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 Ags on a big 11-2 run, lead 18-9
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010
Ags look good so far.
yup, and after a good defensive start, the horns are starting to look lethargic.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 big 3 from james to stop the bleeding a bit... 24-14, Ags lead.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 horns playing much better, but have been a bit unlucky on a couple of loose balls. they've cut the lead to 8, but have had two steals that ended up bouncing back to the ags leading to 4 points.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 A&M breaks to try and beat the buzzer, refs miss a double drouble at half court, and then call a phantom foul (according to the announcers) on the drive.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010
A&M breaks to try and beat the buzzer, refs miss a double drouble at half court, and then call a phantom foul (according to the announcers) on the drive.
they say the ball doesn't lie, and both freethrows are missed. Ags are up 31-23 at the half. i'm encouraged by the way the horns bounced back from their early 13 point hole. if the ball breaks a little differently, this could be a 2 or 4 point game.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 horns outplaying the ags in the 2nd half, but the ags are draining 3s. still an 8-point game at the 16 minute mark.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 now the ags outplaying the horns, up 10.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 a&m's last possession kind of sums up Texas' game so far. they play great D for 33 seconds, and then the Ags hit a semi-desperation contested 3 to beat the shotclock. i don't see the horns coming back in this one. The ags are playing great, getting the calls, and catching the breaks as well. Horns down 51-36.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 J Brown with a huge 4-point play to get the horns back in it! down 9 with 8 to go.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 J Brown with 6 points in two trips to spur a 10-1 run by the horns. after looking out of it, they're definitely back in the mix, down 7 with about 8 minutes to go!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 J'Covan is going to have to win this one.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010
J'Covan is going to have to win this one.
i'd like to see james win it, and j'covan help.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 Ags up 12, late. They've been the better team today, and deserve this win. I thought the horns were decent on both ends, but the ags were better on both ends.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 J Brown down late, as well as BJ Holmes for the ags. Looks like Brown hit his head pretty hard.
bullets13 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 Brown being taken off the court on a stretcher with a neck brace. this doesn't look good.
PhatMack19 Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 He hit his head pretty good. Hopefully the stretcher is precautionary.
