I watched somerville play Evadale,I think Spurger matches up well
with them. Any body else have a scoutting report for this one.

I haven't seen Somerville but Spurger is playing well at the right time.As weird as it sounds the many injuries the pirates suffered during the season are helping them now.This is a great reflection of a TEAM effort and the young coach deserves credit for that.Good luck pirates.

Anyone know why this game is being played so late?  8pm
Should be a good game depending on which Somerville team shows up.
Horrible outing vs Evadale.  Better outing vs Milano but still below the level of play I have seen.
I have a feeling it is going to come down to foul trouble and free throws.

Congrats Pirates on an outstanding game. Watching the game last night we as fans could tell
you boys were well prepared for this one. Great job Isaacs for having your boys that way. The
game plan that coach put together was perfect. At times the players and coach of Somerville
looked confused.

Spurger played well on both ends.  Somerville did a real poor job of rebounding.  Shot selection was terrible......and I don't remember how many silly turnovers there were.  You are right.....Somerville looked confused and I do not know why.  Worst game I have seen them play all year....and since we are on an Andy Griffith trip.....Somerville really used that one bullet to shoot themselves in the foot.  Guys throwing up 3 pointers that never shoot them.  I was disappointed that this was not a better game than it turned out to be but that is the way it goes.  And as I had stated before....not sure which Somerville team was going to show up.  Now we all know.
