whsalum Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 You gotta eliminate second chance points.The Lions have some 3 ball shooters but Brey isn't one of them.Sounds like a low scoring ballgame for the Lions and that usually gets them in trouble.Maybe this will be NW year,I think this will be Kountzes best shot for several years.Congrats to the Lions on a good year and a pat on the back to Roman Walker,this kid has been quetly doing a great job for the Lions for years and will be missed on the local hardwood by not only the Lions but the fans of the game as well.

The refs were bad but they didn't lose this game. The only reason people said they were bad is because devin fouled out. there were several times the ref bailed devin out and made the call on another player towards the end. No, brey's 3 isn't the reason they lost but it wasn't a smart shot but it didn't lose the game for them. Hate that this game was a quarterfinal game, these were two real good teams and everybody didn't even get to watch. whose idea was it to play in livingston anyways?

Super nice for a Jr High but terrible for a game that big. Court was slick...players on both teams sliding.By no means did the refs cost Kountze the game. One had it in for Kountze and one had it in for NW. They called several fouls on different players and one time a player they called it on for NW wasn't even on the court. As anticipated, it was a great game. Sucks that hundreds were turned away. [/font]
