It's funny how folks are saying Zay was the PG at Kountze. Most of what I saw was Brey or Walker bringing the ball up the floor, particularly in crunch time.

My bud! You hardly ever hear anyone from Kountze referring to him as the PG. I said it was a mistake at the beginning of the season as I've watched him since Little Dribblers and I know his strengths.

Who Is the Best point guard in 2A play all together? All Season
Top 5!!!

I got the answers I wanted and I am the father of one of those point guards. I just know in 2A there weren't many true Point guards out there, but thought that my son had to be in the top3 easy, and oh by the way yes he did blow by the point guard from woodville all night long.
Colton Kirk was also a good guard from Sabine, and my son ate his lunch also. Out shot him, handled the ball better. I would have to say My son was the best point guard in the area this year. (for those of you who know what a point guard is). Congrats Jordan Tarver #12 on a great basketball season. Get that ankle well and let's move on to the next level.
I caught heck several times this year for saying Kountze had a weakness because they didn't have a true PG but it is probably what cut their season short.Zay lost the consistency on the long ball this year I think because he wasn't comfortable. If the Lions could have left him at the 2 guard and and Roman at the 3 I think they would have been a little better in the long run.

Andrew Brown jr Arp....lol
Is this kid #32?I heard today from a VERY reliable source that Arp had a kid that could flat out go.
I don't know if Arp has a 32 and if they do i don't remember. From when i saw them they had their best players were #2, 15 (cooper?), and 23. #2 and 23 were the ones that handled the ball, and I heard cooper was going to oklahoma state for football. I'm interested to see the arp/new waverly game

Actually Mr. Cant stay objective I was at both those games and while he did out play the kid from Sabine, by no means did he "eat his lunch". And at the Woodville game he didnt out play Selles he just had teammates who rebounded better that Woodville did that game. They did get the win but not because of your son, because of excellent rebounding and defense by the entire team. Not saying he is not good just saying that he is not as good as your are pumping him up to be. I understand he is your son and you must defend him but he is a top 10 definetly and maybe a top 5 on his best day from what I seen out of 2A this year.
