Should be a great match... Interested to see how Landon plays after having a good stint for Everton so far... GO USA!!!
bullets13 Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 2-1 loss for the states, but a good result. they came in with 6 possible starters injured, and another one (Holden) got hurt about 30 minutes in. US allowed a stupid PK and an unlucky deflection, but for the most part looked pretty solid in the back. they created some good chances, and in the last 10 minutes controlled the game, creating several scoring opportunities, including the goal. i'm pleased with a 2-1 loss to the #3 team in the world, AT their place, and with maybe 4 WC starters on the field for us against most of their likely WC starting lineup.
