Yea Ryker WOS is not my pick to want to beat..I'd rather we beat [b]Jasper [/b] anyday than WOS...much more meaning in my opinion... ;)

 Yep, that was a real nail biter down to the wire football game,Yep Alvarez is a go for broke,all or nothing type coach,not afraid to go for it on 4th down anywhere on the football field,Alvarez and his crew has brought a little respectability back to the Wildcat's...Good luck to the Stangs this season...

Should be a good game but Quandre Diggs getting laid out doesn't seem like it'll happen cuz it hasn't happened much the last 3 years cuz them cats r fast. I was hoping they could come up with a very creative eligibility loophole for the kid.  (Thought he was a junior, maybe we can have AJ re-enroll since cougarland didn't work out) But i'd still like to watch someone put a lick on Diggs because I haven't seen it happen yet.  Also, is angleton going to get smart and stop trying to press at the line of scrimmage with their DB's?  That's what cost them the game against Brenham.

The blue print to beating Angleton- You won't stop Diggs, but stack the box to slow him down.  Force them to put it in the air.  On offense, wheel routes and screens work well.  That should free up your receceivers from the press.  Mix in a couple of fade routes and eventually you'll end up behind their DB's.  While they have had all offseason to correct their defense, when that strategy is run right, it's hard to stop.  They lost most of the track team they fielded in the backfield so Diggs has even more weight on his shoulders.

I disagree.  Even though Jasper has won the last few Kirbyville had a good run a few years back defeating Jasper in good games.  I agree that the rivarly between Jasper and Kirbyville is a better rivarlry and has more history, BUT I also know that beating WOS and Hooks is a knotch Alavrez and Company would love to wittle in the resume.  They got a little taste of the blood last year and I would bet that the Cats will be more up for the WOS game this year.  Just my opinion.

Also, Central is pretty high on the list. I think that they'll be our fiercest competition in district play and that, once again, the district champion will emerge from the PN-G - Central game.

We'll see about that. Diggs is awesome, but him alone won't get you past the 2nd or 3rd round.  I do wanna play y'all again, because it's always fun to watch somebody with talent like Diggs.
