See if we can put together a list of schools and their #1 pitcher.  This will help people know who their team is going up against.
Here is a few I think:

BC-Hicks (ULL)
OF-Statum (A&M)
HF-Johnson
Ned-Bellow (UT)
Vidor-Hester (Lamar)
Jasper-Sowell
Brenham-Maynard
GCM-Butler
Lumberton-Erickson
Central-
Westbrook-Wilson
LCM-Waddell
HJ-Greer
WOS-Anderson
BH-Leggett
Silsbee-Henry
Kirbyville-Jones
Buna-Clark
Crosby-Gabyszwiski
Burkeville-Erwin
Livingston-Nettles

All 3 of these are good.

Brenham- Chase Wellbrock
              Erich Weiss
              Halden Maynard

Who would you say is your big gun? In a one game series title on the line who would start?

I would say the UT commit, Erich Weiss.  Chase Wellbrock has improved over the offseason though and makes for a dynamic #2.

Burkeville - Tylor Erwin..great pitcher (when he gets runs support)

Sorry for the wrong info on Weiss, but he hasn't been pitching this year, unless needed.  Halden Maynard seems to be our main weapon.  I guess coach Long has been experimenting through these tournaments.  Wellbrock is still our #2.  Just wanted to correct that.

GOT THEM ON THERE....THANKS

Chase Wellbrock has emerged as our definant #1, after battling with Halden Maynard all season for the #1 spot.  While both have pitched well, Wellbrock is 7-0 and has saved us at times this year.  Coach Long has listed our rotation as follows....Wellbrock, Maynard and Schlottmann.  In that order.

I really do not mean this ugly, but if he was that great in 1A, he wouldn't need much run support. I know you have to score a few to win, but not that many with a "great" pitcher in 1A. I am sure he is very good, but maybe not great.

I can tell you that the great ones in the area like Hester, Hicks, Sowell etc.,,, would not need much run support. If he is great, one to three runs a game in 1A should do it and yes I played in 1A on teams that were ranked every year and so I do know what I am saying here. There are several very good pitchers in 1A and yet very few great pitchers.

How many games has Henry pitched?

Caleb is an outstanding baseball player. My son and Caleb have been on the same Summer teams for years. This would have to be his first attempt at pitching.
