based on what i heard on the broadcast, the refs were not the reason for the defeat.  Sounds like Spurger's (one of) top scorer was shut down to 0.  Even if he was hot, still doesn't sound like Spurger would have won.  The other team just sounds to strong.

time for alot of spurger fans to eat crow, spurger never really had a chance to beat cayuga. however locals are often blinded by the facts and think with their heart. spurger had a really good season, but they had no chance against cayuga.
