geauxbroncos Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 What does everyone think? Is it possible that the great and mighty football powerhouses of Nederland and PNG will get shut out and that "weak" team from the west will get in? I did not think that it was possible for them to stay at home, but after this weekend.....who knows?
Champion Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Could happen to both of them if they dont turn it on soon.
GoDogs27 Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 look for a totally new bulldog defense this week... Nederland will prevail and take spot 3 in the playoffs
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 New DEFENSE SAME RESULTS!!!!!1-5 OUCH Anybody know when baseball starts?
adminbaberuth Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 New DEFENSE SAME RESULTS!!!!!1-5 OUCH Anybody know when baseball starts? Not so quick there BIG HOUSE, we pull out win at MCM you never know. In the past, you might be right about our spring sports Baseball and Soccer following football but we have the Coach who put Vidor sports back in the playoffs in Coach English.
geauxbroncos Posted October 10, 2006 Author Report Posted October 10, 2006 look for a totally new bulldog defense this week... Nederland will prevail and take spot 3 in the playoffs I say the loser of this game is out completely and the winner hangs on to hope for another week.
JMay Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Dayton should win District, unless they fall apart. Central should be fine as the 2. MCM Winner uses it as a spring board the rest of the way to the playoffs. I think Ned has the best chance. No offense to Lumberton and Orange County, just think the Dogs will prevail.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 PN-G doesn't make it in my opinion.
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 People outside of Mid County have to agree with me on this. It's time for a change!! Year after Year after Year it's Mid County in the playoffs. I'm happy to see other teams making noise and finally having a chance for the playoffs. Not that they won't make it this year i'm just glad to see teams like Vidor and LCm beating these schools.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Thank you well said! I think even piratefan will agree with us on this.
piratefan Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Thank you well said! I think even piratefan will agree with us on this.as much as I hate to Luv ya blue I will agree just this time..this time only
adminbaberuth Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Year after Year after Year it's Mid County in the playoffs. It never gets old, but if it doesn't happen I will need a shirt and and hat so I want look out of place. If it's Vidor, I have a black shirt and hat.
piratefan Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 keep the black shirt and hat handy adminbaberuth
Lucky Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 If PNG can beat Nederland then the Dogs are DONE. I have heard that the Nederland defense is horrible, and I look for PNG to play MUCH better offensivley this week than against LCM. Who would I bet on ? Wouldn't bet on this one. And I find it hard to believe that they could both be in the stands watching the playoffs but, IT COULD HAPPEN !
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Your right. If Nederland loses their toast. Thanks to Vidor as well for beating them as well. I'm hoping Lumberton, Vidor or LCM will get in and Mid County stays at the house for a change.
Guest Kelly Football Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Good possiblity they stay at home this year.
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 The Pirates get in, Sorry Mid County.
PNG Proud Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Actually, It's kinda nice to see all you good folks so jealous of the Mid-County teams and their playoff history. And I understand how frustrating it must be to sit year after year after year... and watch from the sidelines as one or the other (or both) advance, yet again. So, it doesn't upset me that you guys would love to see us both stay home. However, if it does happen, don't get used to it, cuz you all know we'll be right back in it next yr. or soon after. Simply because both schools have a habit of winning (which LCM, Lumberton & Vidor don't) and they won't stay down long, so, enjoy it while ya can!!!!
Guest pngpurplenwhite Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Has Vidor ever made the playoffs?
KFDM COOP Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 The last time they made it was in 2000. See Historical forum for all the teams in SE Texas History.
