lu cards Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 clavell is a good player.plays with a chip on his shoulder.
bullets13 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 SHSU up by one over Baylor at the half, 31-30.
Guest baseball25 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Sam is good I figured this Would be a good game
Guest coachacola Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Villanova beat Robert Morris in OT. Although Robert Morris lost, it looks like a good day for the underdogs so far.
Bruce Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Sam might actually pull this off... What a move by Mitchell with the behind-the-back fake...Murray State dumps Vanderbilt at the buzzer!
lu cards Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 sams depth caught up to them.looks like they ran out of gas.good effort though.
Texantagonise Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Awesome game by Sam Houston. Good showing for the Southland
Guest coachacola Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 A win by SHSU would have been nice for the SLC in terms of exposure and money. They were within a minute of winning that game. Also, a win probably would have guaranteed Bob Marlin a better coaching job, but by hanging tough with Baylor he may still get a better job.
UNLV Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Good thing ole Terror decided not to talk trash with me. Great fight SHSU put up.I think Marlin is gone. Maybe to ULL.

badndn Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 A few weeks ao I thought Marlin would be he Head Cougar, but with Penders's crew making the late season push into the NCAA I don't think he will be gone.Maybe SMU after 4 failed years with Doherty would look to Marlin? Other than that it wont happen this year.
Green Menace Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Seton Hall, UCF, IOWA, Auburn, Boise, St Johns, Toledo, ULL, Kent, and ECU would all be tempting jobs for a successful coah wanting to move up. Not saying the Sam job is bad, just saying.

I think he's still at SHSU after 10+ years because this was only the 2nd time he's taken them to the big dance. It should be interesting to see if he actually leaves SHSU.
Green Menace Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 Prior to UNT's Johnny Jones' success over the past 4-5 years, North Texas took a hard look at Marlin. Many wanted him in Denton. Now with four 20 win seasons in four years and two trips to the NCAA tourney in the same period, we hope to hang on to JJ.
