Nothing wrong with "Open enrollment". That doesn't mean that a "transfer" can play. All it takes is for a school within the district to say the "transfer" moved because of athletic reasons. ;)

This student moved to SourLake so he is not a transfer he lives in the Dist. so he can play whatever sport he wonts. I know that just makes your dayAggie ;D I think I remember you saying last year he would never play  there

It wasn't my opinion as to if he would play there. I was told that he would not play there even if he transfered/moved there.

I guess whoever told you that did not quite know what they were talking about eather. But after leading his 2a dist last year in blockes, even if he does not start as some have said,  will get plenty of playing time next year. And is looking forward to playing in 3a .

Three schools in four years is hard to adapt to. I hope he doesn't look back in a few years and wish he would have stayed put.There isn't anything wrong with being a decent ballplayer in a small district.

You might be right 3 schools in 4 years might be hard but his first two years he was playing a guard at 6'. last year was his first year to play the 5 so that took awhile to get adjusted to but they tryed to run the same off. as HJ does just not as good. So all he will be getting adaped to is the coaching staff, and that is going fine. But we thank you for concern and  look forward to talking Basketball with you this next year.

So, the fact that the player walked off the floor of an Evadale game in summer league, then transfered to East Chambers where he got suspended and then quit the team followed by transfering to HJ with a couple of months left in the school year, is just coincidence with those other reasons.
