This is the last non district game for both teams as the prepare to start district play next week. AggiesAreWe Posted March 20, 2010 Author Report Posted March 20, 2010 Silsbee's Justin Flowers went the distance, pitching 7 innings of 2 hit baseball, striking out 7 while walking only 2. He made only 79 pitches for the game, very efficient game for Flowers.Silsbee was led at the plate by SS Dillon Cain and 1B Lance Brown. Cain was 1-3 with a double and two walks while scoring 2 runs. Brown was 2-4 with a double, a walk, 1 rbi and a run scored. Brown reached base safely in all 5 at bats.Kirbyville's Kael Jones led the Wildcats at the plate getting the only two hits for Kirbyville and driving in both runs. Jones was 2-3 with 2 rbi's.
