Diamondwatcher Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 West Sabine has over 30 kids playing baseball this year and at least 10 of them have hit homers. Not having a home field to practice and play on has really hampered the Tigers with their pitching and fielding, they seem to be hitting the ball just fine. Not easy doing all your practices on the football field.
BucketSitR Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Yes they have alot of kids out this year and that is a great thing. The 3 coaches have been doing a great job of finding games for all the kids to be productive in. Practicing on the Football field really bites and is very limiting. but we will get thru it!! Have some top notch facilities in progress.Hopefully the boys continue to come together and hit full stride come playoff time. Good luck in Broaddus, wish i could make it.BucketSitr
soonerbeintexas Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 The Tigers have had homers from 14 different players (of the 33 total) this season. There are some others who will surely join the HR club before the end of the season. Yes, despite some disadvantages, the players are facing the challenges head on and performing. Good job guys. Keep it up.
