Guest mffl Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Doesn't look great compared to BCG or Floyd, but only time will tell. I guess UH wanted the man with the least baggage.
Ruckdad Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 This is an indictment on the UH program. The fact that Floyd went elsewhere and Marlin pulled out early indicate where UH stands in the line of D1 basketball programs. I wish coach Dickey the best but I see several more seasons of mediocrity in the future. And I know mediocrity - I am a Lamar fan!
Guest jhamilton Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 I dont think are any intentions of any money heading their way bc of the budet cuts. What happen to the Moores sp or the chap that owns the Padres? He threw down like twenty five million but since then anything? UH is in big time trouble along with many skewls in the coming years. Best to Coach D bc I like him but will not get any help any time soon.
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted April 3, 2010 Author Report Posted April 3, 2010 Marlin was interviewed in the middle of the week & needed an answer ASAP because ULaLa was waiting. AD at UH told Marlin he could not give him an answer then, so he took ULL job.
Guest jhamilton Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Not sure about the hire but I do like Max Rhodes and have to trust him on this one. Sure would be nice to get the thing around and thought Penders could put some fans in the seats.
