A.K. is with Tiger at -4.  Surprised that Phil Mickelson did as well as he did, going -5, considering the way he's been playing lately.  No offense to anyone, but just the youth in me doesn't want to see anybody over the age of 40 win, with the only person above 35 being Phil.
That's because you still think golf is a sport which requires athleticism.   It's a game that fat old men can play.       ;D
By this statement I take it that you are neither, fat nor old nor do you play golf.  Did I hit the trifecta? ::)
No, I do play golf, I'm just far from fat and old.

I think Tiger finished at -4. Pretty good start!
he did.  2 off the lead.  Fred Couples is alone in 1st at -6.  Tiger looked very good considering his 5-month layoff!
Can't remember - but isn't this the best Tiger start relative to the leading score ever?
Best start for Tiger ever in the Masters. He has never played the first round under par.

Couple of Brits up top, Westwood and Ian Poulter.  I like Poulter, Westwood not so much.  A.K. and Woods would be a sweet final pairing on Sunday if they can catch up to the previous two.  Barnes will fall off the map like last year in the U.S. Open, Mick will make it very interesting, and the two Koreans will be fun to watch.  Great weekend for golf, both watching and playing.

That was some pretty exciting golf.  Tiger will make it very interesting, but history says he's never won a major coming from behind.  History also says Lee Westwood hasn't ever won a major, and last but not least 18 of the last 19 winners have come from the final pairing, so Lefty will be donning the green jacket tomorrow evening.

What a magnificent tournament! Unbelievable shot making, nerves of steel, determination, never looking back. Nope, it's not Tiger Woods (he got enough press and never led). It's Phil Mickelson, playing possibly the best golf of his career. Almost making three eagles in a row was insane Saturday, but that shot between the trees today was one of the best I have ever seen......ever! What a great win for a great person.

On a side note....I thought it was really strange that Choi and Woods were paired each day and shot identical scores. How often does that happen?

Typical Phil, knocking a 6-iron 207 in between trees to 6 feet on a par five, only to blow the eagle putt 3 feet past the cup.  Great win for him, as well as everyone around him.  Anthony Kim keeps showing that when he's on, he can go extremely low.  Tiger might never win a major from behind, and Lee Westwood will just never win one period.

Yep, typical Phil...he must have been the only player blowing putts at the Masters  ;D Still a great approach shot and a pair of kahunas to even attempt it instead of laying up.

The greens at Augusta are like no others in the world. It's what makes the Masters what it is. +1 and even par have won this tournament, so hats off to anyone scoring way below that.

Also, what a tender moment for he and his wife. I wish them both well.

Jim Furyk.....the 5th ranked player in the world, gets his second victory of the young season today, but I pick him to win the Masters and he doesn't even make the cut. In fact, he wasn't even close. That's not bad picking on my part, that's just golf.  ::)
