Mustang Baseball Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 How is Burkeville going to do the this second time against west sabine?.....???
Mustang Secret Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 im going to start this off by saying i believe in miracles.. which the mustangs are going to need if they want to win this one. Their junior pitcher Zach Busby, who has been A VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE this year, will take on West Sabine tuesday. If he can keep them below 7 runs... and the mustangs actually hit well.. i think they can come out on top. Tylor Erwin hits the ball everygame and his batting average is up around .500, but he can not do it alone.. Denver Jarrell has really heated up lately with great at bats. If the mustangs could ever upset the Tigers... this is their chance.Burkeville- 8West Sabine- 7(HOPEFULLY)
Mustallion #20 Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Final: Burkeville 7 West Sabine 9good game mustangs! Jus came up short
Mustang-Fan Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 This was a very close game! Burkeville hit the ball good but just got out played! On to the next one boys.
Mustang Baseball Posted April 7, 2010 Author Report Posted April 7, 2010 Great job mustangs!!!! you didnt get the win but it was a really intense game!!! everyone hit the ball good and fielding was good even though we had a switch in line-up and fielding positions...... center fielder came up to play first and the third baseman played catcher but it worked nice and #20 is hitting the ball and getting on base finally... their coach said he would do it guess he was just tucked away until now..... GREAT job Mustangs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D We are proud of you!!!! ;D
Guest checkmate Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 I was at the game tonight and I must say...the Mustangs now compared to 6 weeks ago is daylight and dark. They are playing as a team..and only losing a few seniors (what I was told) means that the future is very bright. Keep going 'Stangs!
Mustang Secret Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 wow i can finally say the mustangs are a baseball TEAM!! this game proved that they played with heart... i heard their senior Tylor Erwin had to leave due to a family emergency... and u could tell that that was heavy on their hearts when they took the field. they played soo well... but the fact that west sabine has more talent gave them the edge at the end.. still.. even though it was a loss... it was the best game ive seen the mustangs play in recent memory. Chris Wakefield finally began to hit the ball like we all knew he could. Zach Busby smashed the ball twice for two solid base hits. And Cameron Vanveckhoven had his second straight scoreless outing... he is going to be something special.. i promise. the mustangs finally looked motivated... i hope they can carry this motviation to the next game against Brookeland.. GREAT GAME MUSTANGS ;D
Guest checkmate Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 Vanveckhoven is something very special...IMO he has the brightest future of anyone in the area..I cant imagine him as a senior...scary.
