Three Lamar University quarterbacks combined for 268 passing yards and four touchdowns, and the rushing attack accounted for an additional 137 yards and another TD Saturday afternoon in the Cardinals' 2010 Spring Game.

A standing-room-only crowd of about 800 at the Lamar Soccer Complex saw quarterbacks Andre Bevil, Harrison Tatum and Kevin Smith complete 23 of 35 passes while throwing only one interception with it being made by linebacker Johnathan Epke on the game's final play.
Looks like there was a nice crowd at the spring game.

    • Was La Vega missing key player when wos played them?
    • Defense did not play wet play well last night. It was the hiking the ball over the punters head and Huntsville score a touchdown was the dagger at that point we were within five points, we could’ve stopped them on defense and gotten the ball back and scored a touchdown and had lead it’s different story than defense will make some adjustments just like they did against PNG and sent all those Indians home early😂
    • Can’t say enough about what Coach Breaux and his staff have done with this team. Started a little sluggish but that was expected. This team bought in to Breaux’s system and continue to get better each week. To win the DC in year 1 is impressive!  That’s something that has only been done one other time in the past 30 years in Orangefield. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish!
