utguy09 Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 what happened to lumberton being a contender for a playoff spot...if they still want to they have a lot of work ahead of them
AJ25 Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Still the whole 2nd half of district. Need to flip their record from this half
midcountymadness Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Going into the season and even early on they looked like a contender. Even Livingston looked as if they might make a run this year. The first half has not gone well for these two.
ForeverADog Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Lumberton has lost several close ball games this. They have to pull all those games out.
Cool Hand Luke Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010
Still the whole 2nd half of district. Need to flip their record from this half
If they flip their record they end up 7-7; That will not get them in because PNG and Nederland at 6-1 would need to only win one game(Ozen or Central) and LCM and Vidor at 5-2 would only have to win 2(Ozen and Central) to reach 7-7 themselves. I don't see any of these four teams not winning at least 3 games in the 2nd half. Lumberton will have to win out not just flip the record if they are to have a chance at the playoffs. IMO Lumberton is much better than past years but are not yet at the level of the top four. Give Coach Reyenga another year to turn things around.
