No.  Only when a player transfers from a D1A(FBS) to another FBS do they have to sit out a year.

rumor confirmed.. he will be transferring to Lamar next year to play football. I talked to his dad two days ago and he said Jacob was really happy about his decision to transfer back to play for Lamar

No.  Only when a player transfers from a D1A(FBS) to another FBS do they have to sit out a year.
