Chucky Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 From my watching the past few weeks it seems to me that Gilligan has lost this year's current team and more importantly the coaches who work for him. He is a bit of a snake oil salesman in his approach to the coaching and really hasn't won a significant game as a coach in the past 2 or 3 years. Move on and let some new blood in the program. Coach the team up and quit doggin them and take a look at yourself bub!
badndn Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Chucky, What position do you play for the Cardinals? ;D
Chucky Posted April 7, 2010 Author Report Posted April 7, 2010 Not a player and years past any eligibility for me. You can tell by the demeanor of the players and coaches when you go out and watch. Have you been out there?
Guest baseball25 Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 Everyone knows my answer to this but people don't want the truth so I am going to leave it at that, Lamar will let gilligan do whatever he wants because he's a legen when it comes to college baseball.
LU Baseball Fan Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 Yes at times they have been down and I have discussed this with some of the players and even coaches. This team has a very different chemistry than in the past few years. But I do know that the players had a come to Jesus meeting and they really have a better attitude and are more vocal and supportive the past 10 days. G has and always will be a hard nose guy, but let me tell you something. Some players may get really mad at him at times but they will all jump to defend him.
