PURPLE 4EVER
For the first time I was able to go see a Rockets game at Toyota Center (my niece was doing a pregame dance and they got tickets at a reduced price). We were seating behind the goal WAYYYY UP!!!I just would like to say....The atmosophere was pathetic!I have been to high school games with more energy. The stadium was half full and I don't know why, but they were playing music on the PA system while the game was in progress, which is just wrong.Taking all that out...The Rockets played great. They made there first 7 three pointers and masacred the Jazz, which was nice to watch.I am glad I don't have the money to buy Rocket season tickets, and if I did have the money for them, what a waste of cash.I sat by my brother-in-law who had Rocket season tickets in the late 80's when they were affordable. He said the games in the Summit were just AWEsome!Of course they had Sampson and Akeem back then, but he said it was like a college game, it is not the case anymore. hjhawks
welcome to the "current" state of the NBA. Sponsorships are placed every where thay can be put. There are too many games.... this leads to lower attendance, and less effort (until crunch time) by the players.
