Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Best Kicker in SouthEast Texas Nominations are now in order for the best kicker that you have seen this year regardless of classification. What makes this kicker special? Stats would help also when you make your nomination.
griff Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Russell Turkel. Oh, wait...are we talking about 2006?
woshigh Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Probably Silsbee's Craig Martin. Didn't he kick like a 51-yarder earlier in the season?
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Probably Craig Morton
Bobcat55 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 The kountze lions kicker kicked a 44 yard field goal this year.
Silsbee92 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Craig Martin Kid practices religiously after school. Warms up @ 35 yards, pretty accurate @ 40 yards and can kick it farther than 50 yards regularly if he wants to. Still perfecting technique. Gets very few chances though because of fumbles. Silsbee either scores or fumbles this year.
bronco1 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Daytons kicker He is good, but I don't know if he is the best. His name is David Howard.
Pimp Smack Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 he can kick the crap out of ball. But someone told me he puts something on his cleat to make it go farther.
jmarc77657 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 I havent seen a bunch of them, but Daytons kicker put the football exactly where he wanted everytime, and I got to see him kick ALOT! every single kick was in the end zone...not past it but right there.
silsbeeladyhoopstar20 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 CRAIG MARTIN;SILSBEE..HE HAD A 51 YARD KICK
Guest maverick24 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 I have to agree that Dayton's kicker is a good one. He gains fiel position on every kickoff because you start at the 20 or inside it. I would love to have a kicker that could force a Off. to go 80 yards every time.
whsalum Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 In the small schools Kountze has a very good and so does Hardin!!!!!
Tiger90 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I know we are talking high school , but here is a little FYI about the future here in Silsbee. We have an 8th grader nailing 35+ yarders with ease.
VPiratefan2007 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 vidors kicker......has 5 onside kicks on the season and is perfect in extra points......
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Job well done. Sounds like a good one. he hurt us.
Kelly Fan Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Donnie Carona out of Kelly has a pretty dang strong leg... best punter by far out of this area--- never seen anything like it in a high school game. He has been injured this year with an ancle injury so he hasnt been able to kick much but has done a damn good job for what he has done. His longest punt is 78 yds. against BC... yall should watch for this good in the future...
bronco1 Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 he can kick the crap out of ball. But someone told me he puts something on his cleat to make it go farther. Its a square toed kicking shoe very common and very legal. He just plays other positions as well so everyone sees him taking the shoe on and off. After watching him go at it last night he just might be the best.
griff Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 BC had an awesome kicker last year. Is he still with the team?
I Tell It Like It Is Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 griff your right aj hecker was probably the best kicker in setx last year, he graduated last year
mactiger Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Silsbee Kicker Craig Martin Craig kicked a 51 yd field goal against PN-G this year. Awesome!
kvilleballa Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Kirbyville has a descent kicker in Dre Jackson.
SETXsports Broadcaster Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 I would also have to go with the Silsbee kicker 51 yards is one heck of a kick in a pressure situation
Guest ECBucFan Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 I am hearing the Hardin kicker is the best.
