Your stats doesn't reflect the strength of the schedule each team is playing. When you open and play teams like LaMarque and Brenham in lieu of Takington or Huntington and play a strong schedule the team with the least yardage given up may not be the best defense.

Should be interesting to see WOS defense in week 0. Lost a lot to graduation. Should be a good test for both teams. I know they'll have speed, but how are they in the size dept.?

Look out for them Jags. Second year under Stowers defensive system. Should be much better than last year.

Actually this will be the third year.  We've done pretty good against the run.  I just wonder f we can tighten that suspect pass defense. That's another thread.

Oops! Did the question say "has the best defense" or "might eventually have a great defense?" Kville gave up 25 points per game last year. They might be in the discussion next year if they turn it around, but certainly not yet.
