Pretty impressive indeed Aggies. I've heard the name of all those girls but I've never heard of the Johnson girl. She's not a freshman is she?
Johnson is a freshman, Jeremy's little sister.

Silsbee has 4 freshman girls advancing to regionals.

KFDM would like to personally thank Mike Sanchez for keeping us all informed on this district track meet's results!

Watch KFDM Sports tonight with Mike Friedman for a recap of this evenings meet (90 seconds, we got as many winners into the mix as we could!)

Interview with Ms. Douglass as well!

Good luck in regionals.

Very impressive. I hope they have a great showing. 5'6" as a freshman...wow. That could be 6 by the time she graduates. What's the school record?

The record was 5'4". She broke that a few weeks ago!

Freshman Colin Janise gets a big hug from WOS Track Coach Toby Foreman after anchoring the winning 1600 Relay team at the 21-3A Track Meet Thursday in Silsbee.  WOS won the boys title without sprinter James Haynes who told coaches he tweaked his hamstring during warm ups.  Janise also won the 400 while the surprise win for the Mustangs came from Deron Villery-Griffin who won the 800.

He ran in the relays, just did not participate in the 100 or 200. He is on the relay teams
Haynes did not run at all yesterday, including the relay teams.

But, he can still run on the relay teams at regionals.

Kinda brutal to break 2 and lose by that little of time. I'm not sure how the region stacks up, but they should definitely be in position for the 2 spots for state.
