2010 Soccer collegiate scholarships

Other than Zach Clarke (Kelly), Scott Poole(Lumberton), and Chris White(WB), are there any other area players that have signed to play college soccer?

I have seen Zach play many times and that kid is a great soccer player. I'm not surprised he's one of the few to be continuing his soccer career in college. I wish him the best of luck, make setx proud!

The university is also a very strong academic school.  He has the love for the game and discipline to continue and succeed on and off the field.

From what I've heard, Mary Maina (Silsbee) is going to TWU, Natalie Dufner (Jasper) to Tyler JuCo.

Keep your eyes open for 2011... It should be a bumper crop! I put the over/under at 10 on the girls side... Alot of talent in that class.

I was the Jasper varsity goalie the last three years and im going to play soccer either at Bethel College (indiana) or Letourneau University. Not sure where im going to yet though

I played at ETBU, and Letourneau was our biggest rival...

I played at Tyler Junior College and we beat Letourneau 10 - 0 in Longview!

My opinion: please don't go to a school several states away just to play soccer if the school and/or experience isn't worth it.  If this is your only option to get a college education, then, by all means, go for it, but to accept a scholarship so far away at such a small school might be a little difficult without a solid support structure around you.
