allsports Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 As a Warren baseball fan I watched a truly great thing happen on Tuesday night. After a hard fought game, the Warriors came short of beating the 2a powerhouse Buna, losing 7-5. Warren had a meltdown inning committing 5 errors which inevitably opened the door for Buna. Immediately following the game Coach Terrier called all the Warren players onto the center of the field (in Buna). He commended the Warren players and coaches for their hard work and obvious improvement. It was a class act on his behalf and I feel that the district and community needs to realize what a truly great person that this man is. It was not necessary or needed but this act of incredible sportsmanship and class should be recognized and openly appreciated. What a great person and it shows through your program. The kids obvioulsy appreciated the respect and recognition by such a distinguished coach. Thank you Coach Terrier on behalf of the Warren community.
