Guest coachacola Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Looks like 6-2 guard Kavon Rose will play at LU next year. He played at LCS-PA this year and he originally signed with TCU out of high school. How many recruits is this now? Maybe Roc is planning on replacing the whole team!!http://www.hoopmasters.com/http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/tracker/school?schoolId=2320&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fncb%2frecruiting%2ftracker%2fschool%3fschoolId%3d2320

Guest mffl Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 He committed to Oregon State out of HS, but TCU got his LOI.
Crazy Card Fan Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Great pick up - this has me a little more excited about next season!Roc can stack the whole team with Juco kids for all I care - I'm sure we all agree that WINNING is the main priority. :D
LamarStatesports Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Kavon was a big part of Lamar State's successful 2009-10 campaign. He led the team in scoring with 379 points (13.5 ppg), despite missing two games with an injured ankle. He scored in double figures in 19 of the 28 games in which he played. He also recored 41 steals and 75 assists.Although he is only 6'-2", Kavon wasn't intimidated by big defensive players and was able to use his speed to get open shots. He is a tough kid, and I expect him to earn a lot of playing time at LU.
Guest mffl Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 I wish the local media would put something out on this, since he is the first LSC-PA to come play bball at Lamar.
lu cards Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 ive been waiting for the lupa to lamar pipeline to flow.hopefully there are many more to follow.
Spanky Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Did the inside player from LSC-PA sign with James Madison? He could have helped us at the other end of the county, but I believe he was going to James Madison according to a report I saw. Ahyaro Phillips.
UNLV Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Kavon Rose, Devon Lamb, and Brandon Davis. A good overnight juco fix.We still need a big man so Custer can back him up.
bobbymcgee Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Rose is good but we really need Phillips
