Just reading a little about his history and success. He's 26, talented, motivated, and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
If Roc does end up leaving, would Tubbs be willing to roll the dice on this guy? and if not why the heck not???
I'll be following his career so maybe in a few years I can get back on this board and say "I told you so!"

bobbymcgee - Love your user name, Joplin was the greatest!!!!!

not sure why this would make me nuts? please explain your reasoning...

I get that he's vastly inexperienced, but I see him as destined for success, would love to see the first part of his successful NCAA DI coaching career be at Lamar as opposed to a rival in a year or two.

Are you nuts? though i'd take him if he brought Ahyaro Phillips from Lamar PA

Crazy Card Fan- how many times have you seen a coach jump straight from JUCO to Division I? Especially a 26 year old coach. Recruiting at the JUCO is vastly different. Although, we practically have a JUCO coach now because the only time he won was with JUCO players

Bob Marlin did, but he was also an Assistant on the Div. I level.
