Guest dcole016 Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 yes, because if they lose there will be a 3 way tie for fourth, King plays NF tonight.
BH0088 Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Should be a good one, it was sure fun to watch last time. If there is a 3 way tie for 4th at the end of district, (by looking at the schedule it could happen) If BH, GCM and CEK all split, what determines the tie breaker ?

Guest rambleonus Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 I think (a) head to head and or (b) playoff.

BH0088 Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Good job by GCM, Left fielder for them made some web-jam plays. Bottom line for BH is 3 hits, that is 2 out of 3 games with 3 hits. Where have the bats gone ? Pitching comes around and the bats fly away.
Guest GCMPats Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Yes sir, Jacob Wilburn did an outstanding job his first game in LF. With the return of Brandon Rhoden, Jacob was moved from the every day catcher. The home run theft was possibly a season saving play. No doubt a web gem!
Guest GCMPats Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 I would beg to differ on the BH bats. They knocked the cover off the ball last night. GCM just made every play. The outfielders were money! Now, I will say that they did let Czerwonka off the hook somewhat. He did not have his best stuff early. Way too many walks. Oh well, that's baseball.
BringinTheHeat Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 GCM played great ball, no doubt, made some excellent plays on balls that normally drop, but the game could've been closer. I know, even if it was closer and GCM had more runs, it's still a loss for BH. Seems all our losses have been in the 5th or 6th inning and by 1 or 2 runs. For example-.... the BH runner called out at 1st on a double play (not), and a triple taken away by a ball being called foul, and a GCM player called safe at 3rd before he was even back at the bag..... Just sayin'

Bud Kilmer Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Glad to hear GCM won...always nice to see BH go home a loser ;D
Guest rambleonus Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 This district is so down this year.
BH0088 Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 GcmPats yes GCM made every play and then some, The player that got robbed also was the same kid the snow cone catch was made on. We had a couple of other solid hits , but bottom line is a out is a out and we were held to 3 recorded hits. Thats 2 out 3 games. Oh well that's baseball, again GCM looked good on defense last night and took away some hits and overall did everything they had to do to win. We got beat, no excuses. Hopefully we can finish the season on a 3 game win streak.

He was out and they made the call before the play was ever ended!
Guest GCMPats Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 He was 3ft off the bag and beat the throw back. "Big Boy" ,as you say, lit the Eagles up last night. He had 1 less hit than the entire BH starting 9. The threat of his blazing speed was such that your pitcher balked in a run while he was stealing 2nd. So yes, he was probably a little out of breath.
BringinTheHeat Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 You are exactly right, he carried your Pats yesterday, even your BIG hitters! :o Rupp's baseball savy is what costed us that run, be grateful for that.
