Now the question is will this translate into victories... I have pulled for ROC since day 1. After last season I was about ready for a change,  I hope that he is re-dedicating himself to making this program work.

How updated is this list? I know Texas State is missing at least one recruit.. Travis Jones, Lon Morris College.. Was committed and about to sign with Baylor until a McDonalds All American chose Baylor over Texas.

I like what I see in this recruiting class.  Talk about an overhaul of the team.  8 recruits and only 3 graduating.  I believe Roc has rightfully given up on a bunch of players.  I hope this group is not as disappointing as the last couple of recruiting classes.  Otherwise, the overhaul next year will be in the coaching staff.

sounds like improvement, but would still like to know who will be back.  If the two young men from Pflugerville who redshirted last year aren't back, then it doesn't seem likely to me that their buddy Demetris Smith will be here.

Lamar could rebound and have a good season next year.  In 2007 Lamar went 15-17 with Davis, Sanders, Todd, and Hopkins leading the way, along with Barrow and Nwevo.  Roc went and signed Dawkins, Hall, Nabors and McThay, all rated 3s and 4s by hoopscooponline.  In 2008 Lamar went 19-11.

This year Lamar had Nabors, Miles, Harris and Harper leading the way, with Nwevo, Custer, Brown and Minor contributing.  Looks like Roc is bringing in 3 or 4 good JUCO players who can contribute right away.  A big difference between this year and 2007 is there's no Lamar Sanders to lead the team, but there's a lot of young guys returning who should be better.

It should be quite interesting to see who Roc actually signs and what current players won't be back.  But in Sunday's Bob West column he said Roc won't announce his recruiting class until he's finished signing everyone, so it may be a long wait.

May not get one without the other!

Does anyone know exactly how many of these players have actually signed to come to Lamar?  Darius Harris signed a LOI on local TV, but do we know if anyone else has actually put their name on paper to come here are are these just verbal commits as of now?

Texas Hoops says that Harris, Lynch, Kyser and Smith all signed a letter of intent with Lamar.
