Just a reminder to all those high school players who see this..... that is illegal in high school. No hurdling, diving, or jumping over a fielder. You are out for doing this. Some of you may ask why, it is a safety concern so no one gets spiked in the head. With all that said it was amazing how high the runner leaped over the catcher .

Really?  I always understood the rule on that to be you had to avoid malicious contact with another player.  Unless a rule had been changed even with malicious contact the runner is not automatically out, though ejected im sure.

funny story about that actually, 1 of my friends that played football speared a catcher at home plate, he was ruled safe because the catcher dropped the ball... and then thrown out of the game, it was hilarious, he ended up having the winning run too, the other team's coach was freaking out

[/quote]He should've got the 'double wammy'...BTW the catcher does NOT have to have the ball, its just got to be in flight to him....

      Defense did not play wet play well last night. It was the hiking the ball over the punters head and Huntsville score a touchdown was the dagger at that point we were within five points, we could’ve stopped them on defense and gotten the ball back and scored a touchdown and had lead it’s different story than defense will make some adjustments just like they did against PNG and sent all those Indians home early😂

      Can’t say enough about what Coach Breaux and his staff have done with this team. Started a little sluggish but that was expected. This team bought in to Breaux’s system and continue to get better each week. To win the DC in year 1 is impressive!  That’s something that has only been done one other time in the past 30 years in Orangefield. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish!
