Final score was actually PNG 11  Lumberton 0.  During the bottom of the 5th while PNG was leading 9 -0, Austin Stone homered with one on to make the final score 11 -0.

What has happened to Lumberton??? From what what posted early on I thought they were gonna be a solid contender in the dist. Did Sweet thro last nite for PNG, who pitched for Lumberton??

Ouch.....Looks like L'Town will have to wait another year for a dominant pitcher....In this dist. you need 2-guys who can go out every night a get you 8-10 K's. Or you need to be able to score about 6-7 runs each night....Looks like L'Town can't do either.....Better luck next year..

With the arms I seen, Erickson, Bell and Bingham would seem to be enough to compete. 
In 4A district, those pitchers are not your tournament guys, you got to put the ball in play.

When PNG played Lumberton March 29 in Lumberton, it took extra innings before PNG won 3-1.  It was a game that we (PNG) could have easily lost.  Last night Chris Sweetenham pitched for PNG and I am not sure who Lumberton used (2 pitchers).
