Bobcat55 Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 Let's hear what everyone thinks. Orangefield won first meeting 7-1 @ B-C.
adminbaberuth Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 BC's has to keep OF under 5 or 6 runs to have a chance, the Cats swing the bat.
BC28in80 Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 I agree - you can't give good hitters good pitches to hit when you are ahead in the count. OF has a couple of guys who will make you pay for it! The most important thing is for BC to hit with men in scoring position. We k way too much!
braves24 Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 BC is gonna have to get ahead early and let Matt pitch with some confidence. Should be a good game.
cardinal800 Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 Whoever pitches for BC will need to keep the ball low and try to keep O-Field in the ballpark. Of course easier said then done against such a powerful offense.
baseballdude Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010
Maybe Zoch this round
HAHA! I don't think so....Matt WANTS this one....and Coach Landry knows that! He's going to let him compete!
643 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 I'm thinking OF will see a diff Bridge City team this goround, it won't be a walk in the park for ether...
vidor pirate Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 everyone is saying "OF will see a different BC", i dont think the outcome will change at all, OF still walks outta there with the big W
East TX Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 WOW. two excellent teams that will maybe meet again on up the playoff bracket ladder.I think the final result in this next game will again be-- who gets the most HRs.
Could be, however not many HRs are hit at OF. Out of the 23 OF has hit this year, I think only 5 or 6 were hit at home.
Chill. Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 RESULTS will be the same.....BOBCATS WIN!!!!!!! ;) Good Luck Cats in the Playoffs....
Critter Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 DARN LAKE TRIP!!!!! Well, maybe my cell phone reception at Rayburn won't be bad and I can check the score.... I'm gonna take BC in a close one 3-2.

Zoch has been money all year and what a comfort to know if he gets in a jam Hicks is waiting in the pen. I see Zoch really gaining some respect in this one and BC takes it 4-2.
Critter Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 One good thing about Zoch starting is that Hicks is behind him and Robertson in his original place(3rd).....I was also agree with starting Zoch and then going to Hicks late if needed.
bobcat89 Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 If Zoch starts it will be over with quick. He has shown some good stuff this yr, but has not faced a line-up like Orangefield. BC's only chance is Hicks has great game. OF 8BC 3
baseballdude Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 My GOD I cant believe I just did this.....OF wins 5-3!!! :o But don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for the Cards!
Gabe Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 My pick is.......can't do it in public.Great game, can't wait to be there and very proud of both these teams.
