My take: Not impressive because he does not seem to have ties to Texas high school basketball and the coaches in the state being a Division II coach in Kansas. But then again he could just do what Tidwell does at Europe State aka Lamar and get players from overseas.

Will probably make them a better fundamental team with better in-game coaching

I think on paper, a lot of people (including myself) questioned the hire of Tidwell. We all seemed to want Sondra Ancelot as our coach, and no disrespect to her because she is a great coach, but Billy made his greatest hire with LT!
