Guest baseball25 Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 I see Mayweather stifling Mosley’s offense enough to win a 115-113 or 116-112 unanimous decision. Mayweather will limit Mosley’s output, begin landing counter shots and straight rights and start putting some rounds in the bank in between 5-9, and then then 10-12 the championships rounds will be about who wants to be known as the greatest PFP in the WORLD!!!!! I can't wait for this fight, I am getting chill bumps just talking about this fight. WOULDN'T be SUPRISE if SUGAR SHANE has one more big win up his sleeve.

I see it 116-112 are better for mayweather.
Critter Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 SO the winner of this will be the next to lose to Pac-Man?......lol
JoshD Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 No surprise with this one except the 2nd round when mayweather was hurt. I think pacman could possibly hurt him, and if he can he'd do a better job at sustaining his attack than the 38 year old Mosely did. Interesting fight that NEEDS to happen!!!
Guest baseball25 Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 no doubt, Mayweather looked really good last night.
Bucof2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 Mayweather will handle Pacquaio when that time comes his record isn't an accident
oldschool_50 Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010
Mayweather will handle Pacquaio when that time comes his record isn't an accident [/quote You might be right, Mayweather might just beat Pacquaio. We dont know and we may never know. and yea his record is no accident, there is no way to dodge that many good fighters on accident! even the commentators at the fight made refrence to his padded record, Larry Merahant even made fun of him and called Mayweather the "Artful Dodger".
Bucof2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 The only person left for him to beat that matters is Pacquio how has he dodged all the good fighters every time he beats someone that everybody thought he was going to lose to the only thing people say is he should have been fighting someone else
Ty Cobb Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 Speed kills and it did in this fight. Mayweather was just too fast for Mosley. I didn't realize there would be that much of a difference in hand speed between these two fighters. Mayweather dominated rounds 3-12. The fight couldn't end fast enough for Mosley!!!
JoshD Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 there was more to it than speeds it was skills ring smarts accuracy and timing, mayweather was more mentally composed than mosleythere wasnt a huge disparity than speedspeed is only one small aspect of boxing that can easily be neutralized.mayweather is a great fighter
Guest baseball25 Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 just remember, Mayweather is good very good, people need to realize how good pacman is the guy threw 1200 punches against clottey, 1200 punches i mean thats outrageous, mayweather threw 487 the other night, I think pacman with all the punches he throws will make the mayweather fight a very good one.
yes but the more punches thrown at mayweather the more opportunities he gets to do what he does best - counter. That's why he makes people throw less than they normally would against other fighters because he counters them so well. The question in this fight is will Pac be able to hurt mayweather and sustain his work rate he normally has in fights without getting effectively countered. If Mosley can hurt Mayweather so can Pac, but I could see Pac getting caught coming in if he tries to be aggressive and getting hurt
Guest baseball25 Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 oh yeah it opens him up, no doubt, but manny is just as fast and dominated Hatton and Oscar in his fights, it took mayweather a split decison and 9th round tko, mayweather toughest test was susp to mosley and he dominated, but with pacman hatton, oscar, cotto, clottey alot of experts said they wouldn't be suprise if pacman did get beat and look what he did to all of those guys, I just think all those punches coming at once is alot to deal with expecially since both hands are heavy and powerful, mosley work rate was horrible.
