Brandom was the other strarting CB. Gizzi is back.
St. Claire and Denzlinger split time at Safety (St. Claire was injured). Denzlinger was not a senior, he was a junior, but suffered a neck injury early in the game against Brenham and will not play football anymore.

None of them started the year before. Dunbar and St. Claire were the only ones to see any PT in 2008 and that was very limited.

      Defense did not play wet play well last night. It was the hiking the ball over the punters head and Huntsville score a touchdown was the dagger at that point we were within five points, we could’ve stopped them on defense and gotten the ball back and scored a touchdown and had lead it’s different story than defense will make some adjustments just like they did against PNG and sent all those Indians home early😂

      Can’t say enough about what Coach Breaux and his staff have done with this team. Started a little sluggish but that was expected. This team bought in to Breaux’s system and continue to get better each week. To win the DC in year 1 is impressive!  That’s something that has only been done one other time in the past 30 years in Orangefield. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish!
