Locals Lead UHV Jaguars to Conf. Crown

The Jaguars entered the tourney in Jackson,Tenn. as the 4th seed and opened with Cal-San Marcos and a 4-3 win, then it was #5 seed LSU-A and a 5-2 win follwed by a 10-8 come from behind victory over #1 seed Thomas, Ga.

The Finals set up UHV vs #2 Lamberth.....Lamberth jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first and a 10-2 lead in the second but the Jags scored 8 runs in the bottom of the 8th to win the crown 17-13

Locals boys Broc Hayman, Daryl Stevens, Jerrod Dugas and Rory Scales now get ready to head to Lubbock for the National tourney and the shot at the NAIA World Series.
