The JAGS are still on TOP of 20 4A with 4 rounds deep under their belt but thats all in the PAST....
I agree. I remember Ozen whipping us good a few times. And your right. The past is the past. I'm a Jag, but I do hope that Ozen have a successfull season. They've been due for one...
:o cmon soulja, the jags is on a roll. Ozen's due to come out of it's rut, but let it not be against our jags ;D
D3zii Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 Wow, Ozen fans sure came on here strong..With alot of Confidence.. I guess everone is intitled to their own opinion
ozens fastest@1906 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 Hey I would really like for the The top 2 spots in the district to belong to both the Panthers & Jaguars.. That would be really impressive.. If both teams could go undefeated in the new stadium that would really be amazing, except for when they play each other then someone would have to lose.. LOL

LOL
yeah we have been silent for a long time. I went to yesterday's spring practice and was impressed with the team, Coach Nelson and staff. Watching practice made me feel good about this coming season. And it would be nice if both beaumont teams were at the top of the district once again.
SASQUASH22 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 ALL I AM SIMPLY SAYING IS DON'T UNDER ESTIMATE THE OZEN PANTHERS. THEY WILL COMPETE EVERY GAME,IF YOU FALL ASLEEP ON THESE KIDS. IT'S POSSIBLE YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF ON THE LOSING END OF THE SCOREBOARD. THE "P" TRAIN WILL ROLL IN 2010.

SASQUASH22 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 I am open for suggestions, but you guy's get my point. This is our year to re-enter post season play. Beware !
liltex Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 I see alot closer district games than last year. While 43 seniors graduated from PNG leaving them w/18 srs.returning and some holes to fill they doubtfully go undefeated but make another year of playoffs.I said it last year PNG was better than the record showed the year before last because of that core group who were 43 jrs.but lacking some leadership they now have w/coaching staff.Defense wins championships and that's been for the most part over several years Central my pick-PNG-LCM-Nederland-Lumberton who returns 17 seniors this yr.

Guest Jaguar-J Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 1. Central - The Jags are hungry and want redemption. Team speed is once again a strong point !2. PNG - Faircloth will have the entire system in place. If 3. Nederland - Forney will have more experience and offense should be clicking . Ned should keep the big boy at quarterback because of durability.4. Vidor - Vidor has a good offensive system in place. Backfield will be quicker this year than last. Dont Sleep !
Justme Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 seems as thoug you have not done your research. Vidor graduated almost all of their o line and quicker in vidor doesnt mean quick just means fast than what they had and that is still not very fast.I dont thinnk vidor has a prayer. PNGCentralOzen NederlandLCMlivingston LumbertonVidor May not win a district game in my opinion
liltex Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 Vidor graduated over 2/3 of the varsity-33 seniors-10 juniors ret.as seniors+add the JV.
D3zii Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010
Vidor graduated over 2/3 of the varsity-33 seniors-10 juniors ret.as seniors+add the JV.
That dosent mean anything.. Central garduated every Sr. In 09 And we End up going three rounds Deep. All It really does is give the coach something to tell the players to add fuel to the fire, how no one is takeing them serious..

bojonomore Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 Just saying...LCM has 16 returning starters, and most of the losses are on the offensive line...
bigtank_77705 Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010
Just saying...LCM has 16 returning starters, and most of the losses are on the offensive line...
That usually not a good thing.
SASQUASH22 Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 I agree,no matter how good your Q.B. is you still need to protect him. Without a solid Offensive Line, you won't generate much offense. The same applies for a great Defense,it all starts with the D-Line,no matter how good your D.B.'s are.
spoonbill Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010
Vidor graduated over 2/3 of the varsity-33 seniors-10 juniors ret.as seniors+add the JV.
what was vidor's jv record last year? i believe there were quite a few kids on that team that had the ability to play up, but the varsity team was full of seniors.
loopswoop12 Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 I agree about the offensive line being the building blocks, but considering that LCM's offensive line this past year was less than average I think that this years line should be better. Also, they will have a much stronger And experienced supporting cast to take some pressure off of the line.
liltex Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 Seeing the new reservation during the Texas City game and I was impressed so much @ what the Indians were doing I left @ halftime to drive to Lumberton to catch the 2nd half of the Silsbee game. You're suppossed to be good w/43 seniors-18 jrs=61 players -Dayton had a total 41-19 sen.14 jrs.7 soph.1 fresh.Png returns 18 deep playoff players so we'll see but they most definately got a mighty fine program w/top notch friendly fans.If there is any area needing some underclassmen to step it up I think it will be defensively.Should be interesting race once again but you cannot argue w/success from the likes of Central-PNG-Nederland almost always has great teams.LCM is building and improving-Lumberton has to improve the rushing and replace Beard who was the defensive mainstay-So that's how I got em w/LCM possibly sneaking in the 3rd spot.
