Hippy if your still looking for a hobie catamaran 13' there is 2 on Hou.Craigslist w/gal.trailers 1-$300 1-$500.I thought about making a fishing platform to use to get out of the cold water in late fall.After my surgery recently to remove a arthritic joint in my left ankle from a Nam injury(donor bone/plate/7 screws) I'm not so sure I can Kayak or wade fish anymore in cold water it ached like heck 8)

Bullets and I came in 2nd place.....actually there were only 2 boats, vp's boat and my boat. It looks like the 5-6 boats that said they would do it where no shows.........which would have been some good information to know since I got very little sleep last night preparing for a tournament where only 2 boats showed up.....and one was mine  >:(

I had a good time, but if the people that commited would have called and canceled in advance, maybe we could have made different plans, put more than 2 people in a boat, etc....

Now that I'm through venting, VP did it again with 2 fish, one of them over 6 pounds...I think 6.7 or close to it. The other was 15". I had one that went 15". So, 2 years in a row I give my money to VP.... ;D

I agree on the commitment. Six boats would have been a good little tourney.

If I say that I will fish, I would have to be in the hospital to not show.

i might could've made it interesting if i'd fished a worm in the past 10 years.  i missed two good bites early.  if i'd landed them, who knows.  as it is, hippy skunked me 3 fish to 0.  that makes up for the 1-0 shelacking i layed on him when we went flounder fishing awhile back.
