i remember Leeland playing versus Vidor one year. heck of a run, about 8 pirates after him and he reversed his field and was GONE.

I remember playing against him in the Beaumont Bowl. He was the only reason that Central hung with us. I can say with happiness that we shut him down on 4 downs inside the 5 yard line to seal the win ;D One of the most incredible high school players I played against. Good Job and Congrats.

Yep, but now I'm a NDN fan. Brook at heart though, good memories, and Leland was a beast. We just had a really good defense.
