injun Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010
rain is eminent, lookin for alternate field. Games must be played by Sunday. UIL will not let you play on Sun., so we would have to finish Sat. Rain is scheduled through the weekend. Game is tied1-1 in the bottom of the 3rd. If game can not be played, it will revert to a 1 game series. Indians have the advantage with the 1 game lead.
Exactly why you should "ALWAYS" throw your ace in the first game of a 3 game series
GTBBaseball Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 This is interesting.... the thing here is depth on the mound more for the Rebs than PNG for PNG has some cushion...If the rebs exhausted their top arm today, do you restart him? Being a college signee and for safety concerns do you try to work a tired and over done pitch count arm, this could be big for the Indians...
1696dogs Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Would png have to agree to move the game to another place or would they have to to try to finish the series
ljeicp08 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 the game is moving to Barber's Hill RIGHT NOW.... coaches, teams, and umpires are on their way to MB
NDNS87 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 I was told games must be played Sun at midnight, I thought it was Mon. At midnight. Game moving to Barbers Hill. Can someone look it up on UIL website please and comfirm. AGAIN GAME IS MOVING TO BARBERS HILL NOW.
injun Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Not a good move ..Weather system is moving east 70-80 percent chance of T-Storms starting at 7:00pm at Barbers Hill, need to move west if they are going to move...(Maybe good for PN-G with that first game win )

GTBBaseball Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Ha, ole Jay Bird, coach Stone isnt dumb, run right back into more rain.... smart strategy on Jays part if I understand the rules correctly.... Is PNG Home team in this game?
KFDM COOP Posted May 14, 2010 Author Report Posted May 14, 2010 Coaches may not know which way rain is headed...http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=HGX&product=NCR

GTBBaseball Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 For the record, I know Jay way better than that, he wants to compete and earn things while developing 'men', but hey, a little slight edge with weather doesnt hurt, lol.Hope all the teams get it done tonight and tomorrow....
NDNS87 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 don't know if were going to play tonight, it is pouring down in houston. Can somone confirm the UIL ruling, please? This might not be good for rattlers. NEWS JUST IN: dylan richards at the state track meet is 1 of 2 still standing at the meet for STATE. Going to 6'10".
