A playoff rule question....

What are the rules about fans bringing noise makers like horns,bells,empty water bottles with marbles or rocks in it...etc....to a playoff game?

I don't think there's a rule against them.  Jasper had those dang thunder sticks a few years ago.  They never stopped banging 'em.  Bout drove me nuts!!!

It is a rule that no artificial noisemakers are allowed. It depends on which umpire chapter you get, whether they enforce it or not. The Houston chapter usually enforces it while other chapters let the fans have their fun.

I have looked through the NFHS rule book and there is no rule that I can see keeping noise makers out of the stands. I would assume a local  field authority could keep them out

Check the UIL pages there is a section about sportsmanship that covers this.

I agree with MrUmp1 it is in the UIL regulations not in the actual rule book

I dont think there is any rule..however, as was stated, I do believe officials have the discretion to stop them.
